Senior Travel Consultant

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Senior Travel Consultant to join a well-established travel management company based in Aberdeen. This is a full-time, permanent position offering hybrid working, combining the flexibility of remote work with in-office collaboration.

We are looking for someone with a strong background in travel, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage complex itineraries with precision and professionalism. You'll be joining a supportive and experienced team, playing a key role in delivering high-quality travel solutions to a loyal client base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Arrange and manage end-to-end travel itineraries for clients

• Provide expert advice on the most cost-effective and efficient travel options

• Issue tickets, make amendments, and handle cancellations or reissues when needed

• Ensure all travel bookings comply with client travel policies and budgets

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal colleagues

• Troubleshoot travel issues and offer support outside normal office hours on occasion (as part of a shared on-call rota, if applicable)

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar senior travel role is essential

• Proficiency with travel booking systems

• Strong knowledge of international travel

• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• A customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality service
